Twenty Bakes · beta cohort

Why you stopped is more useful than the fact that you finished

Two minutes, and the unflattering answers are the valuable ones. If you dropped out at bake four because it was dull, that is a better result for this project than a polite completion.

This form is anonymous by design. It carries no name, no email and no participant link — the server stores your answers with no way to connect them to you or to your logs. Umesh will read the answers; he cannot tell which are yours.

Which bake did you last actually complete?

Zero is a real answer. So is twenty.

What actually stopped you?

Pick the closest one. These are listed roughly in order of how common they are, not how acceptable.

Did you ever continue only because Umesh asked you to?

There is no wrong answer and he cannot tell it was you. This question exists because friends finish courses out of loyalty, and loyalty makes the results useless.

Did you use the schedule planner, or work from the fixed timetable?
Which card's prediction was most wrong?

Name the bake and what actually happened. This is the single most valuable thing on the form — the expected dough feel and crumb on every card are predictions from research, not observations, and finding one that's wrong is a genuine contribution.

Would you have paid for this?
In what shape?
Anything else

Blunt is useful. Especially about the parts that were tedious, confusing, or felt like homework.

Thank you — that's genuinely useful.

Nothing here identifies you. If you'd like your logs deleted as well, open the workbook and use the delete button in §33; it takes effect immediately.
